Bond Projects

Bond proposal project themes

The bond will positively impact our community and students in three ways:

  1. Prepare students for success in modern learning spacesThese projects will expand student opportunities by funding the construction of a center of excellence for horticulture, farming, welding and wildland fire. Bond funds will also modernize existing classrooms to meet the needs of education today.
  2. Enhance partner and community connectionsThese funds will create hands-on educational opportunities for kids in middle school through high school to engage with science, technology, engineering and math through innovative programming and immersive experiences.
  3. Preserve and maintain assetsWith bond dollars, the college can preserve and maintain our assets and make needed renovations and large-scale repairs. This includes increasing accessibility for people with disabilities, addressing safety hazards, improving security and upgrading building systems–making them more reliable and energy-efficient.

Update and Fix Aging Infrastructure

Updating, maintaining and repairing aging facilities will include deferred major maintenance projects, campus services facilities improvements and technology upgrades to our aging computer labs and networks. Energy efficiency upgrades, along with replacing the outdated and inefficient central heating and cooling plant will create savings for the college. These projects would also increase accessibility for people with disabilities by removing access barriers as well as enhancing safety and security.
